Kickstarter is a platform for raising money for projects, powered by the social internet. Project creators promote their projects via facebook, twitter, and other social media outlets. Backers pledge money to fund the project. If the project meets its goals by the deadline set, the money gets passed on. If not, the pledged money is returned to the backers.
The Heavenly Sight project was successfully funded on Kickstarter! This, of course, is great news. However, it’s an extra big deal for us because it’s the first Kickstarter campaign that we managed.
